My personal thoughts on this are that you should learn to be happy with yourself before you start trying to be with someone else. Someone else can't make you truly happy. Also I'd say to try and live in the present more than the future because you can't rest on a future that may never happen. The future is unpredictable, and it's probably the more untrustworthy thing that I can think of. The only thing in the future that you can really trust on is the fact that you'll die eventually. Even then though you don't know when, where or how. Other than that you can only trust on what is happening now. That's why you should just try to let things flow and live in the present for the most part.
